Driving Lessons! :o

Hey people, my dad is booking my driving lessons for me today, I can't wait to start driving!
I'm worried about the Theory test though :-\

Has anyone who has passed got any advice or anything like that?

I have my 4th praticle lesson tomorrow (Wed 22nd feb) and i thinks it's ace! :D

Not sure about my theory, They say book early, my sis booked hers today and they can't get her in until march!

Just read the highway code while having your practicle lesson it makes more sence, Thats what im doing & what im worried about is the Hazard perception, That seems hard even though it sounds easy lol

I hope i pass my theory and everything so then i can bee a free sheep :D

ive had 19 driving lessons did my theory on my birthday (17) passed 32 on the written part an 44 on the hazzard part :s close 1 lol

don worry about driving it will all come in time i swear ... i was still stalling my car on my 11th lesson im like an expert now :D it also helps if you have your own car that you can go out in with ur parents so you can get used to driving more than the lessons

i had my car bought for me on my 10th lesson and it helped loads

if you can try and get a car and insureance asap :)

I haven't passed my trial as i am not old enough yet but i wish you a big good luck and i hope that you pass... My mu said that when she did her theory that it was quite hard but my mum is a little wierd lol. I'm sure you will do fine.

I've been driving nearly a year :) i passed my theory first time, but practical test passed second time :)

for hazard perception erm best advice is like make sure you click at least 4 or 5 times on each clip. there is like a limit, so dont go mad lol. But some friends said they didnt click enough. to be honest i dont think it matters so much where you click etc, it says to click on any hazard or whatever but i think it goes on clicks, and maybe the time between clicks. but anyway, just space out the clicks, about 4 or 5 max, over the period of the clip. thats all i can think of. :) i got 33 out of 35 for multiple choice, and 57 out of 75 for the hazard perception. lol, for my multiple choice, the two questions i got wrong where for question on 'Attitude' and 'motorway rules' :o

for practical test, just try to be calm, its really nerve racking, was for me first time, but you got to try think its a normal lesson or something, try be relaxed. :) anyway good luck, :) hope you pass with flying colours! ;)

it does help it builds ur confidence but then u just wanna drive fast :D i lost it in the snow last nite my father wasnt very happy lucky it was only tesco car park :p

its alot for insurence in the uk tho :s im paying £1900 fully comp on a 1.25 fiesta :(

theory isnt hard just buy the disk's to learn with then if you learn with them alot when you come to take the test you will remember them all
the hazzard preception should be easy if you have been driving a bit but everyone has thier off days lol good luck with it when you take it tho :)

Woo, I've been loving my lessons!

First lesson he just asked how I am at driving and I said I was "allright", he told me to drive round the block like five times and then said that he thought I was quite good for a learner. And on the second lesson he took me on an A Road! :o I couldn't belive it, lol, Driving on an A road on the 2nd lesson was amazing. (For those of you who dont know, an A road is like a motorway but with only 2 lanes)

And today I'm having my third lesson *looks at watch* in around half an hour.

Hmm, the driving company keep phoning me up and pestering me to book my theory lesson, but I dont think im ready to do it yet. I havnt done hardly any revision at all. > : (

I took my theory test today for the first time and passed :d I was sooooooooo happy, it was pretty easy actually, if you've practiced with a CD or DVD at home its no problem. I got 35/35 for the theory questions, and 59/75 for the hazard perception, when the pass mark is 44. I still have to learn reversing and stuff before i can take the pratical.
