Ok I'm torn between getting the new Ipod Shuffle or a new Silver Ipod Nano.

Ipod Shuffle 1gb

Advantages
Very smart and small, just clip it on and it's ready! 'Clip and go'

Disadvantages
Only 240 song space, even though I wont use that much songs.

Ipod Nano 2gb

Advantages
Holds quite alot of songs, enough for me and has a cool silver colour

Disadvantages
It is not as neat and cool as the Ipod Shuffle, it is also more money. I would also probably break it easier then I would the tiny shuffle.

Why buy ipod shuffle, most MP3's can do that lol...
tbh i would go with the nano and just buy a protective cover for it (if you can get one)
Because for an extra $50 or w/e, You get a screen, double memory and better style ;)

iPod Nano if I was you. The Shuffles are good but the Nano beats it everytime. Plus I like having a screen, whereas on the Shuffle you dont.

With the new Nanos out then you might be able to find an old design one fairly cheap?

The nano looks better, but seeing as you won't need many songs, I'd opt for the shuffle. Although with the shuffle I believe you can't choose what song you want?

iPod nano, for the reasons stated abive.

Shuffle can't choose songs, and its actually easier to break than the nano. Nano isn't as expensive as most ipods but its still pricey.

Why not get a normal mp3?

i would go for the nano because of the screen, it's easy to find a song unlike the shuffle where it's luck or you know the order of by heart. I chose a nano and with out the screen it would suck really.

If your not gonna use more than 240songs that the Ipod shuffle holds, you might aswell get that.

No point wasting money when you arent gonna use all the space it has.

And yes. The Ipod nano is more accident prone. Also if you get the shuffle you can have it clipped on and have more space to put stuff in your pocket.

Well, from what you put, I'd say shuffle.
It don't hold that many songs and you said you don't need that many songs. It's simple and small so easy to carry etc.
Plus it's cheaper :rolleyes:

You should get the iPod Shuffle for many reasons. Its cheaper, smaller, lighter, less breakable, the ammount of songs you need. And it shuffles them. it is perfect for you by your descriptions. My sister has one and she loves it. Also I have heard many good things about them and compared to the price for the other one, you should DEFIANTLY get the Shuffle. :)

the shuffle is too small and you'll probably loose it so the nano!

tbh i would choose the nano a it is less loosable and you can actually choose what you listen to. Though with the shuffle it costs less but you can't choose what song you listen to. Also if your like me and can't remember where u put something then you would almost certainly loose the shuffle. Don't forget the ipod does 1gb 2gb 4gb and 8gb versions so you can have less memory if you wish.

Nano. As it has more disk Space for you. Say if your a music lover and want more than the 240 songs on the shuffle. And i find you might lose the shuffle or crush it or any way. Where as the nano is bigger. Obviously =]. And seems to me be stronger so less breakable. So you wont brake it in the first month and lose all your money. So i presonally would go with the nano which i have got. And i find it very good.

I can guarntee you will enjoy it MUCH more than the shuffle

I mean, you cant even see what song is playing, and its just random and can take along time to find your song you want

Well i think the nano for many reasons
1. You can get colour covers and they also protect it.
2. More space for songs
3.not so easy to lose or break
4. Better Looking
5. More pricey means better quality :)
6. Has a screen so you can select what song to listen to
