lip piercing

kay, i'm thinking of getting my lip done soon, and i'm just wondering um, how much does it hurt?!
oh and how long do you have to keep it in so it doesn't heal up?

It doesn't hurt that much you just feel slight pressure on your lip and then its done I think anyway. Also 6-8 weeks. I'm thinking of getting mine done.

It doesn't hurt that much, i've had it done. And i didn't feel any pain, it feels a bit sore after though, but nothing bad. And i think, its about 3/4 before you can change it, or so they said to me, so maybe, its 3/4 weeks that you have to keep it in.

I was with my friend when he got it done.

He didn't look that bothered really (Which is strange because he thinks everything hurts..)
He changed his within a week to put a retainer it for school..

I'd go for it!
I like BCR's in lips...

(Even though I don't think it would hurt even if you didn't have numbing, i had my nose done without and that didn't hurt slightly

My brother got his lip done and his chin, He said it didnt hurt.
It would be numbed and if it did hurt you could put bonjella[sp] teething gel near the area.

MOST piercings have a healing period of 6 weeks but it does vary, ive never had a facial piercing (partfromtounge) so i wouldn't really know.

Well my nose has only just healed, And i've had that done just over a year now.. Depends really..
I fathed around with mine too much..
