People say eat no more than 6grams of salt aday (allow less for children) but do any of you folks stop and look at packaging (sp?) to see how much salt is in w/e you're about to have?

I don't xD

Sometimes I look, but I eat it anyway even if it contains alot (not too much though, salt can taste awful when there's too much). :)

I don't pay much attention to the amount of salt in something... I don't eat enough a day to be worried. I have chips alot from the chippy and they put alot of salt on them, sometimes a bit TOO much, and alot of vinegar too ;).

yes I do check my food for my salt, sugar and calories and sometimes fat intake so I suppose im quite healthy.. like in a tin of heinz tomato soup there is 1.4 grams, which I think is quite a lot personally..

You can ignore packaging, but of course, just remember to watch what you eat for any obviously high salt contents in regards to whatever else you may have consumed in the same day.

Just remember...never eat a 'healthy' McDonald's salad...in just one chlorine-washed 'salad', you're given twice your recommended daily allowance!
