Your computer may not be "good" enough to run it.

I know when I had my old OS (Windows ME), it wouldnt work for me. But I updated the OS to XP, upgraded the video driver, and a bunch of other things, and things like SwiftSwitch, Google Earth, and others started working.

I'm not sure which update worked for SwiftSwitch, but my point is your computer may be outdated :)
