Habbo-wide v11 has been released

Hey there.

Thanks to all the people who used our User Improvement Survey, we have finally released Version 11 with a brand new spanking layout (Simple yet effective)

So whats new?


Brand new layout - We decided that a new layout was one major thing that we needed. The information for this was taken from people who filled out our User Improvement Survey.

Your Voice Counts - Because we found that the User Improvement Survey was a useful aid in finding what needs changing on our site we decided to develop it further, and Version 11 introduces the "Your Voice Counts" scheme. We have created a small sub-section about it in the Community section, and you can find the feedback form there (originally the User Improvement Survey). Also, we have updated the survey, and split it into sections (Layout, Website, Radio and Forum) so that you get a chance to comment about all parts of Habbo-Wide. We ask that you spare us 5 minutes to quickly fill out the feedback form (http://www.habbo-wide.net/Community/YVC/Feedback/), and let us know what you think. YVC also has representatives, a mixture of website staff and visitors, who's job is to gain feedback, and ideas and every month discuss what they have found. Homepage updates - We have updated the look of the homepage, and added a few more sections to it, including Your Voice Counts, Link Us, Forum and Poll. Poll and Link Us have been moved there to save space, and having too many frames on the main layout of the site.

New banners - We have created a number of new banners. Each one randomly appears each time you visit the website.

Navigation re-organised - One of the biggest updates is the re-organisation of the navigation. We have scrapped the Resources and Miscellaneous sections, and moved the Alterations to Community. A new Goodies section was created in place of these, and the majority of the Resources can be found here. Some sub-sections, such as Rare's, has been moved to the Guides section. Also, we have updated the style of the navigation, and the sections pages and now a Battle Ball space hopper image is used for each link.

Tips and Tricks - We have updated our tips and tricks page. The page was so long that we decided to take the larger tips/tricks out and change them into separate guides. For example, the Hideout's part has been changed into its own section. There is also a few new tips, and the tips & tricks page can now be found in Guides.

Disclaimer updated - We have updated our disclaimer, and included information about all parts of the website. You can view our full disclaimer here (http://www.habbo-wide.net/Disclaimer/).

New random safety tips - Our random safety tips were getting a bit old, so we decided to update them, and added a few more as well. These are show in the homepage.

Goodies Section - We now, finally, have a goodies section. This includes some parts of the old Resources section, but we have also added some new goodies, such as User Bars, which can be used on our forum. We will also be adding new goodies, at a regular basis.

New Jobs - Well now, we couldn't forget about the Jobs Section could we? We decided to give that a makeover as well, and added two new jobs. Also the application forms have been changed, there is on application form for all the jobs except DJ, and the DJ Application form has been updated too.

Sitemap Updated - Our sitemap has also been updated, and it is now much easier for you to find what you need if you are lost.

Radio Section - This is currently under construction, and should be up late September/October.

v1 was on old server and we dont have a record on it, we only have v10 but I think thats all gone aswell.

If its about the forum skin we are getting a new one when IPB 2.2 is launched next week. However we are sticking with IPB as most of vB's features are cheap run downs of IPB's, i mean look at the ACP of IPB which is professional looking and then look at vB its a split screen :S

Habbo-Wide's Halloween Quest 1 - The Golden Menorah

A secret organisation called GMS was formed to protect the ancient relic - The Golden Menorah. Why they protect the menorah, or what the menorah does is unknown. However, the GMS organisation has suspected that someone in the organisation is trying to steal the Menorah.

Even with the increased security, there has been an serious incident and the Golden Menorah has been stolen. Due to the potential internal threat, senior GMS officials have asked for YOUR help. As a reward, he is offering one lucky Habbo a Study Desk.

To start this dangerous mission you'll need to start at the beginning. Search .:.:V.i.r.u.s:.:. and go to "The Hatch" - the emergency pass code can be found in the competition details at www.habbo-wide.net.

Thanks to the listeners who helped a great party on Halloween, we are currently booking her again for another night.

Please note only the forum is up as the main site is offline whilst Halloween @ Habbowide is taken offline, the Halloween skin has also been removed off the forums.

Version 11.1 has been released, only a slight layout change, our forum has been updated to our new default skin, which you can comment on by accessing http://www.habbo-wide.net/forum/

Comments on the forum skin (I know its not ours, its freeware, but we have edited it alot to fit in with the site).

Forum Updates
We now have a new battle system based on the webgame Kings of Chaos, we now have 750 arcade games, and we now have more skins for you to choose from.

During the updates to Habbo-wide Version 11 this page was accidentally deleted (Thanks to Alex :P). We are working as hard as we can to get this page back up and running, and updated with ALL of the catalogue rare's to date. We expect this page will be up and working again by mid-October, if not sooner! There will be an announcement on the updates page when we have finished.
