Miis are awesome lol. Basically, they're little interactive avatars of yourself which you can distribute to your friends on their Wiis and 'populate your games'. The Miis can be used in 'Wii-Mii Compatible games' which will be fully playable in game.

This is just one of the channels. There are many more but no interface has been revealed yet.

and lol xD But yeah, it'll be useful to check the weather on the Wii since you can access it quickly and easily.

To my knowledge, the only channels that aren't free are the Virtual Console ones. So all those in the videos should be free. :]

If you're in the UK, they're released in very early December.
