The forum games section?

Okay, I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this..

But I can see the games in the forum games section are getting a bit silly now, and just an excuse for some people to get their post count high.

The games are things like
The first person says hello and then the 2nd person says goodbye etc..
I just see no point in it?

I just think some rules should be brought into that section of the forum being a bit stricter on the games that get put on there?

I know, but I used to check this forum daily when it used to have some good games then..

But now i don't even bother because people have realised they can get a huge post count from posting there and started using it as a spam section..

There was talk of disabling post count on that forum, however, it was decided it was a bad idea. This was because alot of people would lose post counts if we did, and they wouldn't like it.

I just think the moderators on that forum should be stricter on the games that go on there, and bring in a new set of rules for that forum.

Yeah I was going to clamp down on the spam game threads, but 8Freak8 said if they want to spam then let them be happy :)

I think the post count should be disabled there. You say people will lose a lot of Posts and complain? No worse than them being disabled in the VIP sub-forums last year. :)

You don't just see 1 thread get posted in, it's the entire list.

yes i agree, a girl called 'Azza' has over 6,000 posts and more than half of them are from the games forum, on every game, every other post is hers, im sure she uses it to increase her post count.

I don't think disabling it would be nice. You will always be able to find another place to spam.

First the VIP forums then the games forum then i bet the intro forum will be disabled as its all "his and byes"..thats not the point of a forum ;).

I will try to sort out the "spam games".
