Anyone know any good tips? They'd be appreciated alot, ty <3

also, it's important because it's like towards my estimated GCSE mark in drama (it's also a monologue, if that makes a difference)

Just don't stress yourself over it:p

Just take it paragraph by paragraph, Repeat it etc.
And if you work hard on it you will remember it by friday :D
Good luck!

Read it, give it to another family member, and try and read that paragraph off by heart.

Different people have different methods of memorising stuff. Here are a few suggestions:

- Write it out loads of times, learning each paragraph seperately, then sticking it all together.

- Get a friend/family member to listen to you read as much as you can remember, and get them to correct you when you make mistakes

- Record yourself, put it on your mp3 player, and listen to it repeatedly when you walk to school

- Make some sort of poster with it on, and place it somewhere you will look at it a lot

- If you're good at music, write a song with this as the lyrics, and sing it to yourself when nobody's listening

Personally, I find that when I keep on writing it out loads of times, it'll eventually stick in my brain, but you might find that a different method works for you.

Anyway, I hope this helps :)

When I have to memorize something, I do it like a line at a time or a few lines at a time, so I like read it over and memorize it then read it back to myself without looking then i go to the next line or few lines and try and memorize all that, if that made any sense. Hope it helps.

wot i do is take questions from essays or whatever and read them, then the answer, then after i readall the questions and answers, i give the paper to someone and have them read the questions to me and i answer.

You shouldn't be trying to memorise all of the 4 pages. Just take out all of the important and main points, and remember them. There's no point remembering everything when some of it is irrelavant.

Woah I did drama GCSE and never had to do that your teacher is harsh

anyway you could put something in your classroom with part of the speech thing
for example the door could be one if you had to say " So I shut him out of my life forever"

I find writing it out works, if you do a paragraph at a time it might help. Also, you don't wanna do it all in one day, because then it's just too much to take in all at once, and you'll forget it, so do like 2/3 paragraphs a day, and then the next day, after you've done the next set, see if you remember the others.
