Ok, basically I'd like to wear the dragonhide ranging armour! Trouble is, I need to complete the dragon slayer quest. My range level is 50, and my combat levels are unfortunately on 35 - 40. Is it possible to complete the quest at my levels? If so, any tips?! :p

fight it untill it just under half health and then bring in a m8 to kill it for u

Well, once ou kill Elvrag you cant go back inside the cage, so if you got a high level to kill it he has to have not done dragon slayer...

MM, maybe he did it now runescpae have changed the rules? I dont know im stupid as hell. But i did it easy with 50 Range and 35 magic. Used the spec on magic bow, and then fire bolt. :$

Use Magic (Fire Bolt) and it'll be easy.

tip.it advises you to use combat, but my combat levels are only 35-40. If I were to get them all to 40, would it make much difference?

Yep! Yust defeated the dragon at level 49 combat, forgot to use prayer, but 13 lobbies and defence potion helped alot! :P

Lol, I'm level 60 combat and haven't faced it yet :rolleyes:
