right yh here goes
today i was in technology and this popular-ish kidtold me that he tried 2 beat up this other popular kid so in english i aske the popular kid did he try n beat u up and he totally got angry
then the kid who told me he did beat him up was like OHH I NEVER SED THAT and now the popular kid thinks im lying but i am notttt but he wont belvie me and now every1s calling me a lier who makes up stuff but its not me and its winding me up coz every1s like

and all the "popular" lot think im like horrid coz i lied but i didnt and no one belives me except for my mates
but i didnt and its upsetting me

Just ignore them, if you say "Oh, i didn't lie" or whatever, they'll just think you did all the more, you just gotta let them get on with it, after a while, they'll find something else amazing and completely forget about what happened. Then maybe, it'll go back to normal?

Just act like your not bother, if he says that just say "oh, go on then", then the chances are, he might not do it. I do it loads, people threat things & i say that & they never do.

Personally its happened to me lots of times, but then again i can handle stick, it seems you don't like it.

Even if the popular kid has alot of friends and is saying lots of things about you, hold your head up high and take it on the chin. Something else will happen within the year and popular kid will forget about you all together and topic will change swiftly.

The other option is if your a fighter, you could warn the popluar kid, then after that if there still saying stuff, give them a good beating, that usually stops people talking about you.
