I would like to remind everyone about a few things about giving out reputation and reporting it.
C12. Do NOT give pointless reputation - There are many reasons to give good reputation points. The post may have helped you, had been well written or be a very good reply. Giving rep points to others just because its a friend or negative reputation points just because you don't like somebody will not be tolerated. Giving bad reputation points when not called for or without a reason is also not tolerated. Anybody caught doing this may get a big reduction to their rep points or worse!
Giving out pointless reputation is against the rules meaning giving it out can get you cautioned or banned. Rude messages in your reputation comments is also unacceptable.
What is considered as pointless rep? Heres the list:
Giving reputation for no reason
Spreading rep so that you can given someone else rep you owe
Repping back
Revenge repping
:Stop: Saying in your signature that you rep back is not allowed and may result in you recieving an infraction for signature violation. :Stop:
When reporting pointless reputation, please remember that other pointless reputation may be removed from you as well (such as people repping you back etc) so do not be surprised if you see that you have lost reputation instead of gained (because of the minus rep being removed).
Please note that reputation given out is checked every other day by administrators and pointless reputation is removed and the pointless reputation givers will be in trouble.
