rough layout design

this is a rough layout design i made. Before i go onto the actual layout i need your opinions if you think this rough design is a good way to set up my site.

Yes, just like when you write a paper, you have to do a Rough Draft first. Then your final draft, it couldn't hurt by making a rough layout first. Give us a preview of it =]

Its a very common type of layout, with this you can even ask someone for color schemes, or even have someone else make it if you're having issues with that.

well i started with the header if you think its bad then i'll have someone else make the layout.

You had a good idea but gaps are too big and not aligned proper i may have ago tommorrow at it :P

I like that, when I design layouts for people I ask them to make something like a outline of what you want the layout to look like and that's perfect to start with...well I usually edit the layout to make it look decent but that's the first start :P

i don't want to make the layout myself actually. I'll make a seprate thread about someone making and coding one for me. Post on this thread so when i do i can post on a link to the other thread without double posting.
