Like I said, try getting one of those nebulisers and using that. That way ur breathing through that and not the air so its cleaner so you get a good nights sleep.

First of all, sorry for not replying to your original post as I do, do my best to post a reply to everyone who needs help, but I've been extra busy this week.

Now, your problem is really medical related, and I agree with your mother that there isn't much a doctor can do for you about it.

It's all just got to do with the way you sleep, and ou unfortunately can't really change that! But think about it, it's not such a big deal breathing in dust and stuff during the night, cause your doing it every minute of every day when your awake anyway accept your just not aware your doing so!

This dust isn't going to kill or effect you, and simply might make your mouth a bit dry like you said - so I say just take a wee glass of water to bed with you and when you wake up you can give your mouth a rinse out.

Don't let it get you down though mate, cause it isn't worth it.

Dont drink as much caffine / coffee
Relax at night
Ware your self out by running around alot out side like an hour before u go to bed ,,
have a bath to try and relax you then get in bed and sleep ;)

try hanging a veil from your ceiling over your head to maybe filter a little of the dist out when you sleep
