I live in Scotland so the curriculum is different.
I'm taking the following courses for 4th Year atm...
Intermediate 2 English [predicted A]
I like English quite a lot except sometimes I can't think of ideas. In my standard grade English, I got a 1 so I am under a lot of pressure to get an A this year.
Intermediate 2 RE [Not sure of prediction yet]
RE bores me and nobody is serious about it.
Standard Grade Maths [General/Credit]
I'm a bit bad at maths but hey, I try. Somehow got into top set ;s I may take Higher Maths although I hate it, because it would look good when I apply for Uni.
Standard Grade French [General/Credit]
French is one of my good subjects, but I'm not too good at speaking assessments.
Standard Grade Modern Studies [General/Credit]
Politics *snores*
Standard Grade Music [General/Credit]
Music has a big influence on my life so I love this class. I do find it really easy though because of my 2 out of school tutors for Classical Guitar and Violin. lol I also have 2 tutors in school as well as a normal class teacher.
- 1st instument Guitar
- 2nd instrument Vocals
Standard Grade Biology [General/Credit]
I'm useless at this, I just can't make myself remember anything. I get a grade 2s in KU. It's hard for me to get a 1 in this subject but I have once in the PS section.
Standard Grade Art and Design [General/Credit]
I can't draw for my life and I always fall behind. Wish I had taken Drama instead.
Standard Grade Administration [General/Credit]
This is basically about the office. It's really boring and you have to write ridiculously long answers to pass the credit paper. :(
For my highers I'm considering English, Music, Psychology [If I can], Maths, and Biology. I'd like to be a Music Teacher or a Music Psychologist when I leave school which of course means Uni! ;D
Ooh and in a few weeks I have my Grade 8 classical guitar exam, which is really important if I want to study music at Uni. When I'm 17 I'm doing my DipMUS which qualifies me to be a private music teacher of Guitar plus any instrument that I am grade 8 on.
