Heya!

Fantastic news for Richard Hammond lovers!

He has been seen publicly smiling and laughing as he was transfered from Leeds hospital to a Bupa hospital in Bristol a few hours ago. He walked from the helicopter that flew him from Leeds to the ambulance picking him up that took him a few minutes down the road to Bristol hospital. He is slow at walking, but he was extremely up and alert.
Doctors suggest that his brian injury may take 6 months to recover.

So all the best Richard Hammond and have a great recovery!

Gem.

But at least he should recover... I'm going to mph06 next month :( He should of been there, I very much doubt it now though.

Well it depends on how fast he recovers, he probably will be let out of hospital soon. But i reckon he may be in supervised care, just incase his brain injury suddenly got worse.

But I believe in the hamster :D He's brilliant!

Oh he'll still do top gear - it's in his blood :D It's been his dream since he was 10! and he's 36 now! So I don't think he'll leave too quickly :P

Yeah! And his children are now able to visit him in hospital which is great. they didn't know anything about the accident first of all. But they know their daddy is in hospital and is well.
