To be honest, excellent designs for habbo come few and far between.
They are mostly the same old cliche designs. Usually, they are just horrible. If you can find a nice one, that isnt like every other, I will be truly amazed.

Most fansites follow the same things, and look similar.

Personally, I think I prefer this design to alot of fansites, purly as its different. it doesnt follow the habbo crowd, and its a different take on it. I dont think its a "true" habbo styled layout though - I know the site is popular, but I cant think of the domain!
