Has anyone ever been scammed by trophys?

where you think they are putting in a blank on and they put a completly diff trophy in with a different disscription?


well y dont they let you read the description in the trade box

like double clicking or sumthin

Yah nice idea :) - ALthough I dont buy normal trophys only the habbo tower trophies, which i rarely buy anyways, and if there not personalised :P

with tons of spelling mistakes and personilised witch people will pay considrably less that the first ones

excellent idea, possibly even a little window that comes up straight away when you trade trophies and it has the desc in it. This kind of a scam is a massive problem for people who trade for normal trophies written by staff.

The other solution is also to prevent the trading of trophies. Personally, I don't trade trophies. If a trophy is for me, it is for me alone, and will stay that way. It sure makes other people feel good if I tell 'em "ooh, sorry - I traded your trophy because I needed a couple more pods for my room". Trophies are personal IMO, and can't see why they are trade-able in the first place. (Unless you wished to move accounts). This whole "trading trophies from staff" thing baffles me. I don't see the point in it, but then again - others might do.

Saying that though, each is entitled to their own POV... and if someone wishes to trade trophies, then I don't see anyone stopping them. I don't think we'll see a solution to the initial problem outlined. Credit trades are risky, and frowned upon, yet people still seem to do them... and still they get scammed. It would be nice to put trophy "scam prevention" in, but I don't particularly see the need, and I can only guess that it would also reflect the view of a number of Sulake employees.

I was talking about super rare HABBO trophies, not perticulary the normal trophies (i agree with you intierly on that account)

I personally don't trade trophies, as I agree that they are personalised. I would feel kinda unhappy if someone traded a trophy that I had given them.
