Ok so ... Just making a quick topic on gay themed movies.
Love watching them =]

Beautiful Thing - Most recent one ive watched was "beautiful thing" its a must see! At times its cute and at others it can be kinda upsetting, but the way his mother reacts...i can totaly relate to it.

Trailor shows ste and Jamie dancing. I feel this is the best part of the film..it basicly represents their love in my opinion.

Get Real - currently have this downloading; A tenderly romantic coming-of-age story as two boys in a British school fall in love.
This tenderly romantic film tells the story of Steve, a young man in a British prep school, as he struggles with coming out and falling in love with the class jock, John... who, amazingly, falls in love with him as well.

Beautiful Thing is awesome, I watched it yesterday or the day before. I forget.

I'm looking into Get Real, thanks for the reccomendation. (edit. I think I may have seen this on tele a while back)

I watched a film recently called "Sommersturm" - it's German, but should come with English subtitles. That's quite a good film, about a teenager who comes to terms with his sexuality while away for the summer at a rowing competition.

I think there definately needs to be more films like this readily avaliable, and modern.

Sorry for the double post, but I got my hands on "Get Real" and it was the film I saw on tele. It's absolutely amazing, and such a good portrayal of a real life situation many teenage boys (and girls) are having to deal with.

I love the main characters bravery in the end. Such courage to come out like that.

I got ahold of Beautiful Thing yesterday and it made me cry. It is an amazing movie.

I'm trying to get Get Real, I just can't seem to find it.
