Almost everybody knows what Habbo Hotel is, but there are still some people who haven't got a clue of what it is and what you can do. I want you to write an explanation, in about 300-500 words, for a person who hasn't heard of Habbo Hotel. At the end of the message you have to give this person 2 top tips, for example: "Don't buy brown plasto, it's worthless on the Habbo market." What are you waiting for? Get explaining!

Tip: Don't assume the person knows what you're talking about in your message, act as if the person knows nothing at all about Habbo Hotel.

Welcome to Habbo Hotel! Habbo Hotel is a virtual hotel where you can make friends, rooms and also a thing to do when your bored. Habbo UK is the most popular habbo but there are many other habbos, such as, French, USA, etc.. To create a habbo just go onto the homepage (www.habbohotel.co.uk) and click the big button saying 'Check In' then your a black page will load up saying 'Sulake' who own habbo hotels. If you do not already have shockwave player you will be asked to download it which takes different amounts of time, depending on your internet connection. Now once you have done that, you will come to a log in page, just above that you will see something like, "new to habbo? register here". You click that and you will be taken to another page where you can choose your very own habbo name, and then you can change your clothes and for sex. To change your clothes just click the arrows. To change your sex, just click the button and change it to female or male depending on your sex or who you want to be. Once you have completed registering, you will then be taken to the habbo hotel view which is the main screen. Along the bottom of your habbo screen, you will see lots of buttons. The navigator which is blue with small yellow arrows coming off it, the console which is the yellow device, your habbo credits purse which is just a purse, and also a HC (habbo club) which you can purchase with real money. There is also an 'Update my habbo ID' at the far left hand side which you can click to change your look, sex and your email and password. Now, habbo club is basically a V.I.P. on habbox, where if you purchase it for 25 credits you get a habbo club present, and a special 'HC' badge, if you are 'HC' for 12 months (one year) you will receive a GOLD shiny HC badge. If you want to create a room, you can click the navigator, click guest rooms, click own rooms and then you will see a 'create own room' button which you can click, and you can make your room from there, you can buy things from the catalogue with credits, now you may be thinking, ' Oh no, I have to spend real money! '. Well don't worry as in the end it is well worth it. To go to a public room to chill you can click the navigator and there right infront of you are the public rooms! The console is a device where you can contact your friend, to get friends go into any room, find a fellow habbo and then click on then, you will see 2 buttons... There is Trade and Ask To Become A Friend, Click that one, the will then see it on there console as a still '!' and then they will accept it or reject it, also you will know when you receive a message as it, makes a sort of bip bi beep sound and it shows a flashing '!'. If you click your self, you will see another 2 buttons, saying 'wave' and 'dance'. If you click wave, your habbo hand will wave... and if you click dance your habbo will dance. Moving onto rights and owning a room with the ability to kick and move and pick up furniture. Ok, when owning your own room, and can kick people, pick up your furni and give other people rights, while in someone elses room if you get rights, you can kick other people out of the room and you can move the furniture. Most room owners ask you not to move furniture or kick for no reason. After you kick someone, they will be taken back onto hotel view, sometimes this can be quite funny but annoying to the receiving end! After a while on habbo after getting profit from trades or donates you could become quite rich! Enjoy your time on habbo!

Top 2 hints:

1. NEVER give out personal details to ANYONE on the internet.

2. Try using habbo fansites to get the correct values of your furniture as you don't want to be ripped of and it's always good to know values, plus if you gave them far more than you should and you bought that stuff with credits, you could be losing out on alot of money!

Right first things first, you need to know your way around, learn a few things, right? You need to know what your doing, what buttons are what. Your own Habbo has lots of styles, If your in the Habbo Club you will get more styles to choose from and you'll get a nice HC badge! If your in Habbo Club for a year you'll get an even shinier badge! Each month u rejoin Habbo Club you'll get an exclusive Rare! A Rare is a piece of furni that is obviously worth a lot more than normal cheaper furni. Furni is a slang word used in the hotel, furni is shortened from furniture. Furni can be bought from the catalouge. Every couple of weeks a Rare is released in the catalouge and they can be bought for 25 Credits. Credits are the Hotel's currency, £3.00 can buy you 35 Credits. You can also buy 15 Credits for just £1.50. Credits can't just buy you furni, they can also buy you Gaming Tickets. Gaming Tickets can be used in the Wobble Squabble,Habbo Lido and the Battle Ball. If you're really good and become a master at games on Habbo you win a badge! Habbo Hotel is safe to use and there is very few rules to abide by. The Hotel has Moderators which work in 4 hour intervals. There is always a Moderator online. From being sworn at to being scammed, a Moderator will always help you if you click on the blue question mark at the bottom right of your screen.
Remember that you should never give away your password.
Heres another little tip: Habbo has Rare values that go up and down all the time. So if you have a Rare thats not worth a lot and you think it should be, then just keep it for a little while and you never know, it might go up in value.
