Somewhere in hear [I wrote it several months ago]

I couldn’t put everything everyone wanted into this tutorial otherwise it would take all year so im going to cover. Enter pages, exporting into html, and making images editable in flash i will be including.

First ill do by far the easiest making images editable in flash.

Im sure you’ve noticed if you just copy an paste something into flash you cant edit it and when you paste it its upside down.

Well when you paste it instead of right clicking and pushing paste go Edit>paste special

Then it will open up another panel and just push ok. Now its pasted properly but you still cant edit it.

So push Modify>Bitmap>Trace Bitmap

It will open up this panel

Set the Curve fit as pixels but the corner threshold and minimum area should depend on how big the image is if its relatively small then have it 1 and 1 but if its really big have 40 and 40 experiment to see what your computer can and cant handle. When your done just push ok and your image is now editable

Now for how to export your flash files into html .

Check if your properties bar is open at the bottom if its not push Ctrl + F3 and the actions bar F9.
Then on it push Publish settings

Then at the top make sure html is selected and then just click publish at the bottom

Now your document should have a .swf and a .html upload both onto your website and the html will let you insert radios etc

Now how to create enter page which is a little more tricky

Open up your flash layout and push shift+F2. What you have done is opened up the scene panel

Click the +sign to insert a new scene then drag scene 2 so it is above scene 1.
Select scene 2 and on frame one draw the first frame of what you want your enter page to be eg a habbo walking across the screen. Mine will just be a line

Right click on the timeline and push insert keyframe then on the second frame draw then next picture of what you drew in frame one but slightly different so its moved or whatever. To make this easier you could use the onion skin just below the timeline to see the difference to previous frames.

Keep repeating this till you’ve made your whole animation.
Make sure the actions bar is open at the bottom if its not push F9.
Click on the final frame where you want your enter button to be and in the actions panel at the bottom type stop();

Then draw/write enter for your button and click on it but make sure only the button is selected not anything else in the frame

Push F8 and it should open up something like this

Make sure button is selected and then push ok
Then double click on your button
Right click underneath over and insert a keyframe

In this change the colour of the enter text to whatever colour you want it to be when you rollover it. The double click off it so you come out of the button. Then click once on it and in the actions panel write.
