View Full Version : My scariest moment...

This happened yesterday... I told my mate Kerryn what people had been saying about her, it was all this bad stuff, saying how ugly she was and how she was a liar and other things in much more colourful language. She knows that I am her only remaining true friend. One of the people who were being horrible about her was txt-bullying her. keep in mind that these people were her friends just the day before. Kerryn suddenly text me the following msg:
WEL IM GOING TO DIE NW BI 4EVA
I sent her about ten texts pleading for her not to do anything to herself [i've been terrified of any of my friends dying since three years ago when my best friend got killed in a farmbike accident] and one hour and a half later she replied:
EVRYBDI H8Z ME SO WHY LIVE?
I finally got her to call me and when I answered the phone she was a blubbering mess. She was crying her eyes out and she could barely talk for tears. She hung up after about twenty minutes, saying 'she should go now' and a rather serious 'goodbye'.
Today I kept trying to call & text her, but her cellphone was off and no-one was at home at her house. I got really worried. I thought she had hurt herself.
She finally called me back one hour ago. I was so happy I thought I would burst. I was so relieved she was okay... I couldn't believe that I had been so worried.
What were your scariest moment(s)?

Wow !
That must of been scary for you...

There was this boy in our school (He's really unpopular and has no friends)
he threatened to stab imself with scissors, jump from the top of the school stairs and land three floors down and said he was going to commit suicide. I felt really scared that someone could be bullied so much to fell like that.

Mines sort of, a lot different to that but I've had similar not so bad experiences of friend suicide :(
I nearly drowned with my brother in Australia.
We were out quite far and when we realised we decided to go back in but we got caught in a current getting pushed further out into the ocean. Being only 9 I wasn't that strong a swimmer and I started swallowing heaps of water and this surferperson had seen us and swam out, put us on his board and called out to a lifesaver who came on a jetboat and put us on this tray thing on the back. I swear if we hadn't been seen, kerpoof I wouldn't be here now. :S

I dont get easily scared (not acting hard) but a few days ago i fell of a bridge about 20ft off the ground and i hit the conkrete real hard on my back, breaking my tailbone and most of my c0cksicks in the process, and the docor told me if i would have landed any more than an inch further back i would have been paralyzed for the rest of my life, because my back nerve than goes to my brain, controling my back movements was right next to where i landed...

Scary

My scariest time was when i was up in Canada, i was in some forest/reserve and i heard a creak then a 20 ft tree was coming at me, 20 ft may not seem much but it was at the time

Btw, i find it best to keep things quiet, even if someone is talking about my mates, like one kid had MD poured down the back of his neck, he ran out of the school and dived infront of a pikcup truck, luckily the driver stopped, everyone talks about him behind his back, and he goes like that ^ whenever hes told what they say.

That must have been so terrifying for you. I remember seeing my mum in hospital, she was in a coma but she was listening. The scary part was when she just screamed out "Mommy!" I was so terrified I snuggled into my grandad for comfort and started crying.

my scariest moment .. Hmmm. When I was 10 , I was on a big jumping castle thing with walls, and me and my friends pulled the 12m wall down and we sat on it, and they all suddenly got off, and it bounced right back up , and I flew off it towards the ground, and I flipped at the last second to land on my feet.

I guess my scariest time was hmmm.... ahh yes I know. I went into canaval ride and went on the ride that tosses you around and spins you. I was 11 but Anyway I fell out of my seat but clung onto the metal but slipped onto the ground. There were lots of people crouding around me and I passes out. I broke my back but it was only a crack which had no effect on the vertibre. Thats why they have tight seats on. Though mine was tight but it all came apart for no reason? The ride was shut down for a long time and had to de something about the remodling on the ride I think the G force? Something like that. I cracked my back, skull, both sholderblades and my right arm. Oh the pain!! I would of thorght that the rides were safe! But it wasnt fasened enouth like the belt i forgot and they didnt check! And it hurt when a came out because it hit the ummmm bone in your well... between your legs. And the metal was cold.

haha! nice one!
.... poor wasps!

Ive never really had much to be scared about...
I seem to be a car magnet though, this year so far, I've nearly been hit by 3!
I have had a friend talk to me about killing herself... she always says how she's depressed and hates her life etc... I think its just to get attention though, she's always on about it. I hope she wouldn't commit suicide anyway.

We used to have a wasp nest above our pool, it was so annoying you get stung everytime you tried to get in/out. :P Glitter Rip - ouch! Thats why I don't really trust carnival rides because they get put up so quickly and taken down in about a week, I just don't think it's real safe. Themeparks however <33 Haha I go nuts. :D:D

Ooohh... point about the carnival rides.
A while ago, we had a town carnival, well... actually... we still have them once a year ;) .... anyway, some guys put up a ride where you get held into your seat by a metal bar...
The ride was a bit like a merry-go-round... but 4 metal arms came out of the center and attatched to them were seats that held about 4 people. These arms span around at an incredible speed, and at the same time, the seats rotated too :o scary?
Anyway... in our town is a harbour, and the carnival is always set up on a pier.
That fateful year, two friends were sitting in the ride and due to the sloppy work of the mechanics, the seat they were in flew off. One of the men were flung out and was knocked unconcious. The other, who remained in the seat was thrown into the sea by the momentum that the arm had detatched itself with.
And yes, he drowned. My father, who is a doctor saw the man at the hospital, where people were trying to resussatate him :S sorry about spelling.
Anyway... that proved no use.
However, I still use these rides occasionaly... Am I an idiot?!?

Well my scariest moment was when my friend was eating a lollipop, and there was a wasp on it, and he swallowed the wasp, I didn't know what to do, so started calling all my family, while he screamed like crazy, and once we got to the hospital, we found out it had stung all his throat, but was dead down there, luckily he wasn't allergic to them, but he now has the biggest phobia ever!

Wow part of my familys friend had that eating an apple and swallowed a wasp. Unfortunally he died! :( He was allergic and he couldnt breath it stung him the whole way down. The doctors couldnt help it was too late. This happened in 1950's

I've been stung a couple of times but it doesn't really hurt (or is it just me?)
Once a wasp stung me and it was hanging in my arm because his sting couldn't get out of my arm.

Scary moments? let me think..............It's not scary but I don't know how it happens but it happens alot to me. I have like premenissions about moments. Last year on new years eve, we just bough a new house and on a moment when me, my familly and friends were siiting in a room I realised I already did the whole evening before even though that's impossible because these friends have never been at our house during new years eve and it was the first new years eve in our new house. Talking about falling down stairs, I got annoyed with my 10 year old brother, about 8 at the time, and pushed him down my nans stairs, there was a radiator at the bottom, and he cracked his head open, and went unconcious, and all I could keep shouting was 'I'M A MURDERER, I'M A MURDERER'.

He is alive by the way...

That, my friend, is a 'déjà vu' (french for 'already seen') I can't explain what it is (I believe its not really proven what it is anyways) But I think you dreamed it, forgot your dream while awaking, got remembered at that moment.
I know exactly how you felt at that moment, you are sure you havent been there before but suddenly you think you've seen or done it before. Its very weird.

Scary things..hmm
Well when I was like 6/7 some giant wave hit me :p Well it was very big for a lil kid like me, like 3/4 times bigger then my lenght at that time. It was very strong and it pulled me underwater. And I kept circling and I was so shocked I didnt think about getting up again and the water was so strong after the wave came down..I couldnt get back up.
I thought I would die :p Then I came back up again and I ran to my mum and I didnt go back in the water that day :p
Oh yes Ash, the current in the sea is very scary and so powerfull!! Me and my friends went into the sea very far and we thought we where strong enough to go back again..
It was very hard getting back, I was very tired after doing that..Woow..

Falling of a bridge or tower sounds very very scary!!
And its sounds very scary that you can get a heart attack when you hit the ground in your dream, I can imagine that that will be a great shock..Cause you always wake up just before hitting the ground..Always.....so when you dont wake up before hitting the ground its pretty logical you will never wake up again...CREEPY..Im scared to go to bed now cause I will dream of falling and I will poo my pants.. :(

Yeah I know it's called a déjà vu. It is so weird. But the strange thing is how can we dream it if we don't even know that the moment you "see again" is going to happen?
Everytime it happens to me I'm in a small tiny little shock and then I go further with my life lol.

whem i ws doing my advaced divemaster scuber diver thingy..

we went to this placecalled "shark bay" it was a drft dive, and me and my dad gqot caught in a massive shoalof barracudas, and when we got out, i had this likecrtnthingy on my side, from the dorsal fin of baracuda..

even worse, when we gotack on the boat, a bunch of the divers had said they has seen a maxmum of 3 hammerhead sharks, and my mum and sister were swming with my mums friend. The wnerfo the diving club, got into the rescue boat, and began out, and arond the bay, the water was a tinted red.. i was this close to bobba-ing myself.. ^_^

MY mum and sister were picked up, and everybody was fine. The local divers assumed the sharks had attcked a smaller fish/ or animal, and tha ws what ws causing the redish water.

Read "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown *anyone who reads me post on here knows I think they RAWK*, has a lot of arguments between God - Science, especially Angels and Demons.

I believe in god... But that doesn't mean everyone else must. I could be wrong. But i also have this theory, that if you believe in something, it is real, if you don't, it isn't. It's just, say there is a god, its better to be safe than sorry, so i also believe for that reason aswell, so if there is a god, i can still be accepted. It's like a unsuccesful singer, he might have thought he was gonna make it to the top, but then he didn't, and he had another job waiting for him.

That doesn't make sence. I mean if god (or God) really exists then shouldn't he know you only believe in him just in case?? I mean people say god (or God) can see everything (yeah right) so what is the point of believing him just in case he exists?? There are thousands of people who don't believe in god and they won't go to hell, I think hell doesn't even exists.

Another scarey moment was when I tried to cut a peice of paper for my brother when he was about 4, with massive garden scissors, and I cut the end of his finger off, I told my mum he did it, until we got to the hospital I started crying my eyes out and fessed up.

Then once my brother kept asking me for a drink, he was reallllyy young then, and I told him there was one in my mums room, so he went in there, and drank the bleach instead!
My dad was asleep from doing a nightshift, so I had to wake him up, and he wouldn't believe me at first, but then we rang and ambulance, and I got a right telling off.

Well my scariest moment must of been when my nan was burgled, It was her birthday so we all had a family meal and so on.. and we got back to her house and the door wouldnt open when you turned the key. And we looked through letterbox and the dog was out when he is usually locked in.

So we went round the backway and the gate was wide open, and the window was done in (probably how they got in) and the door was left open round the back so i think we disturbed them because the pond is on one side of the garden, And the water feature was in the pond so they must have paniced and run.

went in the house and the draws were everywhere, ALL my grandads jewelery was taken which was memories seeing as he passed away about 12 years ago.

I didnt even know him so they were like all my memories of him, Apart from pics.

But i just hope the people that did it die basicly, I dont really care if thats to harsh because they ruined my nans life basicly.

The scariest moment in my life ever would be when me and my friend was walking through this little village and some random person shouted at us and said "Oi you get in the f***ing car now!" then this police officer came up to them and they drove off :S if the police officer wasnt there i probably wouldnt of been here now

@yayse- don't get you.

My scariest moment would be..

My girlfriend, my best friend, and Myself were selling like some tickets to people from door-to-door.. and we walked up to this man's house and knocked on the door, he had his front window open and he yelled
" WHAT DO YOU WANT! ". Terrified enough, we ran down the steps and started down to my best friend's house, a couple seconds later, he opens the door, and in a polite voice says " Just kidding! What do you need? :)"
IT MADE US LAUGH FOR HOURS..

My scariest moment (not much) was when I was little and I was biking around at about 8 and then this car came by and I flipped them off and they started to slow down and one guy opened his door and was going to come and run after me...
