On habbo the doors are open already as you can see a handle and lock in the dark
so your doors need to be like open aswell so that people can be in doorway

Perhaps as Siz said, you could do two styles.
If your door is locked/passed, The door is closed, otherwise they're open like they are now.

ok ive think ive cracked a way to make it open/close im taking all your ideas into consideration!
anyway heres the 2/3rd finished catalog view, coloured the banner, made the wooden door 3 dots now.
