If you got to choose what you wanted to drive every day, what one would you choose?

Be practical and don't be like "I WANT A MILLION DOLLAR BENTLEY", because we all know you won't have a millon dollar car that you drive every day, unless you're the queen.

I think right now I'd either choose a Honda Accord (like the one I have now) or a Volkswagen Jetta TDI (diesel), because a Jetta gets 50+ mpg!

I'll be getting my first car shortly, and i'm planning to get a 56 (new) vw fox or C2, but i guess i'll research for cheapest costs and insurance.

However i got an aprilia rs50 right now so that does me fine:D

For my first car my mum says she is buying me a Ford Ka lol. She says because its cheap and insurance group 2 which is really low.

I dont like it but for a first car which i would only keep for around a year or two is alright.

I would love to have found a 4-cylinder Honda Accord but the price was right and it had all the options I wanted and it was a 6-cylinder.

I'd like a little peaguot or corsa or something, new one of course. I'm saving for one at the moment. My ford fiesta is a bit of a banger so I'd like something newer.

the town&country we had was a piece of junk and then in 1998 we got the new odyssey and we still have an odyssey (2005) touring & the sliding doors and rear liftgate open up with the remote!

My dads 2002 model does exactly that...

Both side doors open via remote, button by the doors and a button on the control panel at the front on the ceiling. The same applies for the boot. When you close the doors and they are not properly close, the electrics will take over and close them for you. The new Chrysler, I believe has the seats fold into the ground. My dads version doesn't do that however...

Why would a 7 seater need that many cup holders :s

Yeah, we have a control panel beside the steering wheel and it has an on/off switch and an open/close button for both doors, open/close/tilt button for the moonroof and the petal ajuster too. The liftgate switch is below it too.
As for the seats, the back row folds flat into the floor, but the 2 captian's chairs in the middle don't. I don't think the middle seats have ever been taken out so it's not a big deal if they don't fold into the floor or not.

My mom leased the van for 24 months in January 2005 so the lease is almost up but I think we're going to buy it out when the lease is up because then we don't have to pay the excess mile fee because we can put 12000mi's per year on the van at no charge and 20cents per mile after that. The van has about 57000 on it now.

We have had very good luck with all of our Honda's & Acura's. We have had a 90 Accord, 92 Acura Vigor, 1995 Accord, 99 Odyssey, 00 Acura TL and none of them ever gave my mom/dad any problems. I have a 2003 Honda Accord right now and I haven't had for very long, but I love it and the 2005 Odyssey is the same.

As for the Chrysler's, they didn't give us good luck =( We had a 97 Town&Country and like a month after the warranty the transmission blew so we fixed it and then the A/C broke so my parents traded it in on a 99 Odyssey. We have a 2003 Mercedes-Benz S500 w/ 172000mi and we can't drive it anymore because it needs so much work to pass it's MVI and my mom dosen't want to put a ton of money into a car with 172k miles because the engine might blow at anytime. But she is looking for a newer Mercedes S or E-class and now is the time to get 2006 or 2005.

Hmmm, my dads Chrysler is a 2002, which might make some difference... Hondas are very cool I have to agree, my family has 2 at the moment, both Civics, sport and 5 door hatchback, both good :D

I realised about 30 minutes after my post that you live in America I believe? So I don't think we have the Hondas you talk about, other than the Accord which has a very flat back on the estate. I realised a while ago that for some strange reason, when US cars are imported to the UK and changed to fit the standards, they change a bit more handling wise.
