Hey,

I fineshed my php request system 2 months ago called.. Request System :p

It can be brought for £5 at www.requestsystem.info (http://www.requestsystem.info) instant download once payment has been made via paypal.

You cant seriosly be thinking about selling that.
It would take about a 5 second modiction to the commenst script im working on to get that.
The new request show at the bottom, as far as i can tell theres no limit per page. No flood control ether.
If it was free it would be ok, for moeny No chance.

The fact is it is a basic script for beginner php learners. It is FULL open soruce meaning you can edit it how you like and as much as you like.

I could create something better (Which i am working on at the minute) but this is as i said before for BEGINNER php learners.

Dont come here saying its not worth it when it is it can teach learner a lot if they study the code well.

The one im working on (Version 1.2) will have the option to ban people, add new users, use cookies to stop flooding, and some other stuff bu you will have to wait untill its done ;)

thee are loads of versions and the log in part are the same and the colurs of the tables are the same and the layou, so u just downloaded it edited it to act like u made it and now trying to get money of it

Well it was all coded my self.

And ive had just over 20 people buy it within first 5 days of it being released :) (only 11 paied full price as the rest were Contacts who get a £5 discount)

Wait untill version 1.2 is released it will be better than any request system brought out (Predicted release is in late June but may be sooner depending on how quick i work)

And zainx ive installed the one you got and its nothing like mine theres nother the same about it at all.

Hey,

This looks almost the same as my DJ script.
All the variables the same...

Eg:
when you send a request it adds ?msg=sent
in the dj panel has view=1
The DJ folder is the same:

/dj/
same dj.php file name

The main index.htm has the same info apart it says its yours!

Same delete.php (hidden)
Same djpage.php (hidden)
Same request.php
and the DJ login looks the same (just different colours)
AND the DJ panel looks the same... just one big list of reuqests/shouts/etc...

The request page has the input names...

and the only different is "yours" has a competition

Listen I made the system my self it is BASIC php its some of the first php i learnt all it basically is, is a mysql database that stores the requests and then when you go to the viewing page the viewing pages pulls the requests from the database to show them on the site. Simple any newish coder could do it.

How come you dont use 'your' request script on your site?

In stead there is only a name and request box.

Lol, its simple, and there lighlty to look the same being the same script, im just absoulty amased people are ignorant enogh to acatly part with money for a half hour script.

If people are dopy enogh to pay thats a good thing for you, and sort of serves them right for not takeing the advioce for the rogh same thing free in this topic, or just getting one.


ps, if its open sorse you cant sell the sourse just the complieled version, and as php (athogh it can be) isnt actaly a com,piled script it cant be open sorse if your selling it

when first released it was £10 but now its £5 and contacts get it for £3

and about the "Not a great system" i would like to see you do better as i keep saying to a lot of people version 1.2 is out soon so keep checking the site for updates ;)

I can gartee you can get a better system free if you looked. Ones been posted on this forum somewhere, wich is nearly identicle exsept without the price tag.

plus ive worked out i would only have to chnage 7 lines of code, and build a cp page, and id have everything that ones does, and full section deleat, a complet databas dealet. Athogh mines currantly flat file, so no need to use a data base, if it was wnated in mysql it woulnt take to much editing...

(i still have no net to my pc, so i cant upload it yet.)

Seriosly i dont think you can REALY copyright a script anyone who sat down for 10 minutes could write. And if they did there pretty sad.

1. Its simpler than the first script i ever wrote 2 days after starting to learn php
it has no flood control
no ip banning
admins and dj same accounts
i dont even think it supports multipel accounts

I mean for god sake by going to all this hype over a shody script like that just proves how bad a makeing them some people must be.

Plus you havent actaly added anything to your site or tos, that say it cant be distrubuted so you will probly get sued for taking people to caught on fauls pretences. Some people need to get a life
