You where warned, several times.. That Habbox DO get your mobile number when you text for VIP, which they do..
They use GreenLight (See it for yourself ;l)
So, you should know better..
Habbox, never heared of Data protection act?
You might have gone too far now, if my mobile number appears in this list then you will get done - Your into so much deep trouble its unbelievable.
Guys, there was a bug that lasted about a week which let Habbox see phone numbers, Habbox fixed this as quick as I could. However. Barkseh was VIP manager so obviouly has some of the numbers...

Also, I think I've said this in the past but even if Habbox could see your phonenumber, 8Freak8, Wayne. Nvrspk4 + Sierk have better things to do then phone you and pretend to be the police. If you don't think buying VIP via SMS is safe, use paypal.

So? Other members would sit and phone people. If the numbers did get out, then Habbox could face alot of trouble, IF the person actually choose to take it further as it does break the Data Protection Act, which applies if you hold personal information regarding other people.
If Habbox Vip Managers are sad enough to call you then they must be really sad cause why would they do that there like 16 or sumit not as imature as some people (Come to mind) and maybe they didnt get it off Habbox somewhere else or maybe ur m8 is Playing a trick and u have NO evidance So

This is what I've been told by Habbox and this I will believe untill someone proves me wrong.
No-one has no proof that habbox did use the numbers and so the police will just ignore it only if you ahve proof and dont blmfae it on ant hes kool :D and he has nothing to do with this , so ur saying anyone that works for habbox might of done it???

Normally I have to pay people to say that about me :8 And it's very, very irresponsible to let this slip out. YES it breaches the Data Protection Act (1998). YES it breaches the Child Protection Act (1999). Looks like Habbox are in it deep here. May come to nothing, but I'm disappointed at this leak :(

Now it could be a Neopet trading site or a high-tech BBC Website - if it breaks the three acts I mentioned (Data Protection [1998] Child Protection [1999] Child Online Privacy [1998]) they can be investigated and, if it's serious - which it seems to be, as anyone could now have those numbers, and as we know people can be tracked via their mobile phones - then yes the police will get involved.

Right firstly let's clear up some things. I am the only one, yes the ONLY one who has access to these except for sierk who to my knowledge has never logged in. Firstly I have no reason to extract your mobile number especially as the connection fee calling from America costs quite a bit :rolleyes:

Right have fun with that. We lied how? Breach of Data Protection Act...that would be the person who disclosed it would it not? Furthermore, regarding the under 18's mobile, you are required to have parental permission to buy Habbox VIP. We cannot control who sends this to us because we have to accept from all buyers. Therefore it is not our liability. Basically by claiming all this you are further inferring that GLPayment is illegal?

You can only buy VIP for a month via SMS. They will keep it for a month incase something happens like, you get made staff and accidently lose your VIP so they can confirm you bought it, after the month there is no need for it.
