He's admitted in The Sun today that he has spent £1,000 per week for the last 3 years on coke... o_O

Shame he's left the band, me liked!

THE DARKNESS frontman JUSTIN HAWKINS quit the British rockers yesterday (10OCT06), after successfully undergoing rehab for drink and drug problems. The I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE star has been clean of ******* and alcohol for nine weeks, and feels he just can't live the rock 'n' roll lifestyle any more. Hawkins' former bandmates - including his guitarist brother DAN - plan to continue without him, despite poor sales of second album ONE WAY TICKET TO HELL AND BACK. He says, "I feel bad for the others, but I can't do it any more."

Lame excuse to quit. You don't need drugs and alcohol to rock!

No, he was on drugs since the start of the band and has only just managed to get off them and decided that he did not want to live the rock n roll life style anymore.

I'm not too bothered really, I don't like The Darkness that much. But £1,000 a week on coke? That's crazy!
