have you ever had a hurricane where you live?

i have lol :[ it was like september 28 & 29 2003 i think... was really bad ;[ link with pics of it : http://www.novaweather.net/Hurricane_Juan.html

our power was out for about 4 days lol, & we only had 1 week off of school.

Yes when I lived in Toronto there was a minor one, but school still was on, I forgot what it was called, John i think..

Nope, no hurricanes have ever occured in Singapore, thankfully. The winds and water current around here aren't strong enough to create one.

yeah, even though i'm in scotland :/
my island seems to get them, it's gay.

we've had a few, last really big one was last January, power was off for a week, 5 people died, and a week off school.

I havnt been in a full force hurricane but there was very very strong winds. Was over here in Fuerteventura. 1 man died cos he was an idiot and decided he would fix his roof!

1989 or something, Michael Fish (or something) BBC Weather man said we deffinatley wouldn't get one, then the next day 78% of the UK was damaged

I was in bedford when hurricane juan hit. My dads house was fine, eventhough it's close to the water. I remember the posh houses along the bedford basin were like wrecked.

i used to live along bedford basin... i moved a few years before the hurricane came lol. glad we moved :]!
