A New Command for room owner.

Scam website advertisersWell i have. Kicking becomes pointless, they just keep coming back. So i suggest a "Ban" Button. This would ban the person from re-entering the room. So once the person loads the rooms they go back to hotel view with a message saying "You have been banned from this room."

Good idea? Yes? no?

It's a bad idea. You say it's meant to stop scamming, but it would inflate scamming.

1. Games room - You have just won a game. You get banned rom the room, and the owner says: 'Why did he leave when he just won :S'

2. Casinos: You have just won a bet. Same as above happens next.

3. Givaways: Not really scamming, but ages ago when I used to go to givaways, I'd say what I want, they'd pick it up, say 'Is that ok?', then kick and lock the room. In this case, they would ban you from the room, making it even easier for them to annoy lots of people and get loads of hate rooms :P

So there's my opinion on this subject :D

To everyone in the room you mean, to make it blatently obvious? Still, what if you were alone with that person in the room?

It's good in some ways and bad.. as people said above; its good to get rid of flooders, scammers etc. But bad if your playing a game, kicked, and banned from the room. And tbh I think Habbo will just stick with the 'kick' option.

Well maybe the ban button should only be used on certain catagory rooms. If it was a game/trade room, the owner shouldn't have the ban button, but the rest of them would have it. However say if you got annoyed with someone in your room and you banned them and then you decided you wanted to unban them, how would you do it? Would it be in room settings so you have names of people banned from your room and you have the option to unban them?

Good idea, As others said most people have already suggested the idea and i for one suggested that idea few days ago. I also think there should be a command called "Pick Up All" for picking up all the rooms furniture saves alot of hassle but then again will habbo make these commands in the later future?

Pick up all may be a problem and if somone did loads of stacking which took somone 1 whole day and clicked pick up all by accident.. lol

Wouldn't this cause lag? each Habbo would have a database of banned names imagine how many people would have thousands! unless they had a limit

"Somewhere" doesn't come from nowhere. :P I can imagine a lot of database space being taken up by this feature...

This feature (and many other similar ones) are heavily and repeatedly requested, yet version after version, there is no appearance or reference to them... which makes me question their viability. Why? Because if a feature is frequently mentioned on forums, frequently submitted through the Habbo Help Tool, mentioned at Soapbox and other places, it leads me to think the guys at Sulake must have put some thought into the matter... and come to the conclusion that it would just not be viable. :(
