Well, I had to do a statement last night because a friends phone got stolen, so, they took me in the station and then said I had been drinking (which I have) and then they go "We can't take a statement from you as it's bad practice."

But, I've finally realised how dumb they are.. I was in the lounge and some police officer was trying to remember his password for the internet policing system and after 10 attempts, he actually got in. Then there was another officer who scanned something, and around 200 copies came out in pitch black ink.

One of the police officers then went off duty and made me sit in a room with my 3 other friends, one came back and said "What do I need to do?".

I've gotta go back at 11 today, fun.

Grr, at least hire someone with an education. :(

Some of them are intelligent, but alot are plain stupid.
My dads car got 'stolen' and he said my sister might have it. After 6 hours the police called my sister and found out she parked it at our house.

Hmmmm, I am interested to know where abouts you are... I have never come across a dumb policeman. Some of them are explainable, ok maybe 1. Some people do forget their passwords or get them mixed up, which isn't really dumb. It depends if you actually remember something like that. The photocopier is funny though... But then again, the most smartest person may not be able to play with a photocopier and get it to do something right... People are smart in different ways!

Was that necessary? You're not very intelligent "/ You can't type of reply without some sort of major error... So I don't think you have any right to offend someone who is possibly not as dumb as you...

Well, I went today.. they told us to go at 11 so we got there for 11, she was an hour late so we went back to the car (which was the otherside of Birmingham City Center) and as soon as we were driving off they phone us and tell us to come back, we went back and said the statement will only take a few minutes, it actually took 2 hours.

I had to give a statement before.
I was in a bad car wreck and I when I was better I had to give a statement to the police and my mom couldn't be present. Anyway, they guy was charged with dangerous driving and he had to pay for our car (wrecked) and our medical bills $$$$$$$$$$$, but he had insurance.

It's really scary because you think you'll mess up.

Me and my mate (both 15) sort of own this Vectra. It's not road legal, we don't use it on the road. We usually drive it up the back roads in the forest, maximum 40mph. Since I live in quite a remote village in Wales we have like these Community Cops. The one we had for a year or so was a young guy who was wuite happy to elt us drive it about as long we didn't hit the main road. But this cop left for some reason, but he's still ca cop just in another unit. This new community cop is one of these guys who goes on and on about how he's been in the force for 20 years and expects us to do what HE says, not the law. ANyway my mate took the Vectra round the forest, came back so I hopped in, then we saw this cop in the forest, with his car. Stopped us, and tried to get us done. We had to dump the Vectra in a lay-by and he took us to the station for questioning. Our interviewer was our old community cop we had and he let us go :D We've got him back now but the old guy is just ******ed.

Surely that just means your family is stupid, not the police.

You do realise you can only drive the car on private property? If you got done, it is your own fault. Neither of you have a valid driving license which is very bad. Personally, the Interviewer should be fired and you should be charged. No offence, but that is kinda terrible behaviour...

I really hate it when people have a go at the police for no reason. They're here to protect us, and they do it quite well. Sure, there isn't enough money being spent on the police force and so it does break down sometimes, but generally they do very well.

Why is it "cool" to hate the police?
