Well, its taken me a while uploading all of these pics, but i would like to hear your views on the Chessington World Of Adventures Park getting a hotel, i personally think its a waste of money,That could be used elsewhere in the park.

Unless people actully come around the counrty to go there, but i see no reason why they would - The park is nothing special.

This is an artist drawing of what the hotel should look like. It consists of approx 105 rooms, thats not too many, as i dont think they will be attracting too many people;

Project Statistics
Project Location:
Chessington World of Adventures, Surrey, UK

Project Type:
150 Bedroom Safari Lodge Hotel

Project due for Completion:
June 2007

Although this is only in one of Tussauds "smaller" parks it is one of the largest which Tussauds have undertaken. Supposidly. Alton towers already have 2 hotels, but for a park its size, this is understandable. Thus as thorpe park is one of the fastest growing theme parks in europe, they are said to be getting one on the 2008 season.

This is where it is to be located in the park, the picture isnt very clear - but as you can see (Well, of what you can see) it is on the edge of the park, near the car park.

Thanks for reading, this may be a bit one sided as i am more on 'Thorpes' side :P

Plus, i really dislike Chessington, so its all written by me, so dont expect anything in its favor ;D

Myself, I think this would suit more for CWoA's hotel.

Anyway..
WHY THE HELL do they want a hotel? They should be spending this money on a ride which will attract people to go there, TOTAL waste of money.

Thats more like a lodge tbh. Its a tad pointless for a small kiddies park..

They should be spending their money elsewhere.

I think CWoA is more of a day out thing though..
Say if you go to the zoo, you wouldn't be like
OMGS. WE HAVE TO GO TOMMOROW *Stays in hotel*
And thats what I see CWoA as.

If you get me..

You can go to CWoA in a day and be back at home, because tbh - theres not much really TO do?

Chessington is big! MUCH bigger than Thorpe Park.

Wow, you mean the actual park is bigger? Or they have more building space..
I'd never imagine that

Sorry for bumping an old thread but..

I will be staying in the Safari Lodge, Thorpe Park is a short drive from Chessington.

However, I shall ONLY stay in the hotel for one night and the remainder of my stay in Chessington Tolworth Travelodge.
