I'm pretty sure you can't buy a SMS pin from England threw a Canadian mobile phone because the diffrent phone companies + how would they transfer 5 pounds to Candian dollars :p .

He's buying a PIN from soneone else, so all he has to do is put in a random number, and someone else's code.
