Okay, I'm 14 and I go to an all boys school, my school is far away from my home so my friends live a long way away. So, basically, I never leave the house and I'm just on the computer constantly. I need some help on how to make friends where I live etc...

Yep, we seem to be in the same boat, why don't you join some local activity classes where you will meet someone who shares the same interests as you. I also spend far too much time on the computer but I do realise that I should get out more, if only for the exercise! Perhaps you could read a book or magazine instead of going on the computer all of the time, you could learn a lot more whilst your doing it including expanding your vocabulary!! Hope this helps :)
what do you enjoy?
e.g. football? if so, join a team, make mates from football, go to clubs, make mates round the area, like go down your park, make some mates there. :)

How far away is far? like an hour (like me) or realy far?
Plus dont you take a bus or anything? get to know some people of that maybe?
tbh even now i dont realy have any friends that live particaly near to me, which just means alot of travling here or there when ever i want to do anything, but its not a major problem, unless your bus is like mine and deicdes it will be oh, so reliable, and not turn up for a few runs "/

Perhaps take up a hobby that you are interested in, if it is a team game even better, you can meet more people!

Well the best way is to get involoved. Often theres alot of events on that you dont know about. Try a sporting club becuase theres often new people starting every season. Hobbies are often common ground, personally i've found a few friends through sport, art, music and language groups.
Just put your self out there in situations that you normally wouldn;t and you will be surprised at how easy it is

Basically what everyone else said, just try to look for some clubs or teams you could join, or maybe if you see someone around the school in one of your classes try to strike up a conversation atleast to get to know someone.
