Anybody want to start a mobile portal?

with a .mobi domain. With latest news & sports, maybe let people make their own homepages and stuff, but for their mobiles.

It's a growing market, I think we could maybe make some money with advertising and stuff. It's all be professionally done with RSS feeds and whatnot.

Anybody intrested, we could even have forums and stuff. x]

Wap is basically redundant now as most phones are gprs or 3G and genrally the people who go on the internet on their phones have gprs enabled phones

I have no idea if your incorrect or what as I don't own a mobile phone, I just know that they used to run on WAP.

No longer as mobile internet is fairly pricey so people who use it usually have fairly good phones which are gprs/3g and gprs phones are now around £20

i have 3g, I-mode new internet on samsungs and it has gprs enabled so i can go on any site anyway
