that doesnt mean much..
its like a prepaid cell phone company.. they can close down even if you still have minutes on you're phone init? they just have to give you warning.

they dont have to, read the T&Cs, it states they cannot be brought to court if closed or something, i think

Yeah, when you sign up you have to read them. They could say we take $50 out of your credit every month. And they have the right to.

What are the legal matters?

YAY! We've not had a doomsday thread in a while. <3 :D

Read teh forum stickies babe, k. Hearsay doesn't provide ample grounds for forming a thread on "teh end of da world". :(

It would take a hefty bloomin' fine to close Habbo down ("£50 million hotel")... which methinks is unlikely. I don't know what "legal matters" you are referring to, but without a bit of explanation you are not really telling us anything - and it's just another doomsday thread! <3

It only takes 1 idiot to form a rumour, a couple more idiots to believe them, then you have a convincing number of people spreading a rumour, and many other Habbos falling for it. Come on... rumours spammed over console are hardly reliable. Remember "crew XYZ iz coming diz friday to block and stuff and last tyme dey got lots of ppl bannd"? :( There has been a large number of doomsday threads, and how many of them have taken place? None. ;)

Yep, I heard about this aswell, I'm going to keep checking sulake.com till they announce it.
You would have thought they would disable people buying credits if they know it's going to close very soon..

2hd.

It's not going to close. Read today's telegraph. £50 million a year. Why would they stop running it?

They could never close habbo, sulake are making way too much money to even think about closing it, if they got sued they would spend hell loads of money on a good lawyer.
they would totally change habbo as long as it was still earning them money.
