Range/Mage Pure Help me

Mage - 61
Defence - 10
attack - 40
str - 36
prayer - 16

Should i just get my defence up really high so when ppl attack me i dont die easily or should i stay a pure?

matters if you want to be pure or not, If you want high defence you will need really high defence so they dont hit you very often.

whats the advantages of being a pure and not

my combat level is 44 but on my other account its 61 but thats not pure

You can wear your blue chaps and vambraces with a leather top.

Im making a mage / range pure atm i won't get def up till 99 range..

i dont think you will get defence at 99 range, ive been on a 99 range pure and it totally owned everything else.

yes but if you want better loot you want to fight higher levels and your gonna need something to get up cb and def is best to get up?

Nah you would get 52 prayer for smite so your about 75-76 and thats what level they start using whips at.
