IPB is much better, however you need to learn how to use its features to the maxium!

Like combining forum masks with usergroups and seperate members

Hmmm I personally prefer phpbb as its easier to mod but IPB is by far the best and rivals VB anyday!!

phpBB is too basic for me and people hack them all the time.

alot of people overlook how advanced trhe skinning tools are in IPB, mainly as there presnted pretty badly and look complex. So most people stick to css, but if you bother iwth all teh skin files, its just as unlimted as phpbb, possibly more as i dont quite know the exstent of phpbb skining abilty, exspet its supposly alot easyer

I like PHPBB, Its easy to mod, change theme etc,
I dont like IPB because its harder to mod.... lol

I cant work out IPB its too confusing with Phpbb you just upload the skin install in the admin section and it all works but IPB is impossible :S

Invisonboareds acp look pretty co plex at first galnce, and to me phpbbs one just looks empty. SO i can see how ipb may look complex to someone makeing the switch, athogh in realty its quite simple, somtimes the fact that when a link catogroy is closed they look confuing but hwen expanded you can quite easy figure them out.

There seems to be an idea that ipb is hard to skin, athogh from my own exspece its unfounded.

Plus, to install a skin in ipb, just uplaod the .tar file to the incoming folder, go in to the acp skins, clikc the files name, and its auto installed for you :D
