I was wondering if it's possible to get a job by being asked randomly in a clothes store when purchasing some of their goods? Say i go upto the till purchase a t shirt and out of the blue "hey you want a job, mr?" Surely i would have to fill out forms and apply for the job? NO?

To get a job you have to ask for it,, they most likely wont ask you, and also in most shops you need to be sixteen and have your national insurance card

if they're in desperate need of staff, they would ask if you wanted a job if you looked old enough. They wouldn't give you the job straight away, they would ask you back for an interview, where you'd need a resume & stuff. Just because it hasn't happened to you, doesn't mean it would never happen. And why would Chaz lie about it anyway?

Go to a Recruitment Agency like Champion or Westaff. There should be a recruitment agency in your town or one near you. Just fill out a form and ask for a part time job in retail. They will find one for you.

No. Been to a supermarket with your parents and they buy alcohol. Sometimes the wo/man behind the desk needs to get a senior staff to 'sell' it because they arn't old enough (you have to be 18 to sell alcohol too.)
