Not only am I already a very irate person by nature, but the fact that you have just given away the clues and code, when some of us worked it out genuinely, has me even more ticked off than I usually am.

Well done, you morons. Now instead of us actually having something valuable, every dirty Habbo with 25 credits stuffed up their sleeves will have their hands on one of these Black Dragons, and so we will have 30 odd rooms titled "Blk Drgns 4 sale in ere!" or, thanks to you "Buying Black Dragons, 0.5 HC each". I mean how many times do they have to write 'Don't give away the clues or answers to quests.' on big mallets, and clock you guys over the heads before you get it?

So take your bows, simpletons, for once again, you spoil it for the innocent.

Moronic Majority: "But GothicJoe, why should we not tell people? Aren't we depriving them?" (That's translated, folks. Here is the original question: "but dud, y shudnt we tell pplz bout da dragz? den dey can hav 1 too!!!11!!!1!")

GothicJoe: "Because first of all, it's a competition, whereby the point is that the people who work it out are able to buy a Black Dragon, as a prize. Also, for once it would be nice if the genuine Habbos that aren't always out for a quick credit here and a dodgy deal there happened to be the popular ones for once. Should intelligence really go unrewarded? No."

I pretty much agree with you. However, I feel the need to justify my actions.

In the other thread, the answer had been posted numerous times. Any person who reads the thread would find the answer regardless. N!ckG was aware from reading the thread the time the rare was coming out on Monday. However, I quote "Have i missed something :s Has it been confirmed as 13:30?" I would rather people not know the answer at all, or know how to get the answer. I did have a spoiler warning on my post, but edited out after realising how pointless it was - the answer was already posted, so my post wouldn't affect a lot of people. I would prefer people know how to work the clues, so they can identify the next time alone. (Labour uses the principle "a hand up, not a hand out" - same principle here.)

Let's be realistic: I cannot see the rare being in the catalogue for less than an hour (although I could be wrong). People are already spamming over console the time and date of the dragon release, and what about 13:30 tomorrow? The majority of people in the Hotel tomorrow will be aware the dragon is in the catalogue. I worked out the clues (after having 13:30 being messaged time and time again over my console, may I add), but I'm not going to be buying any of them.

Unfortunately, very few people can keep secrets - and the same holds true for quests/clues. Please do not mistake me for one who likes to give the answers away. :P On the contrary - I would prefer answers kept secret. It is a forum though, and people will want to blurt things out. I am not justifying it, just giving some reasoning. :D

Yes, it is a discussion board. And i'm discussing how bloody stupid you are. Just because you discuss Habbo here, doesn't mean you have to go nerding all over the place, strutting with your chest puffed out, barking the answer to a quest and ruining it for everyone else. If the majority weren't so utterly brainless and dim, they might have worked it out for themselves. If you didn't freak the answer everywhere, they might actually grow a brain cell or two.

I pretty much agree with you. However, I feel the need to justify my actions.

I agree with you also Barmi, but still, even if the answer has already been said elsewhere, posting about it again will just mean more people will see it.

Read the Habboween pages, it says there will be clues that lead to 2 digit numbers which lead to a time.

The clues are on Habboween furni for this paticular time, and it leads to the time we have all concluded.

I have to agree with 'Ymo' here, by far the most important thing here is the fun of the quest or whatever. You have ruined it, ok its 'legal to tell everyone' but to be honest is there a point to it?

It was already "spoiled" as you put it. :( It was also contained to one thread. All I did, was explain to N!ckG (and those in a similar position to him) on how to work it out. And guess what? All those people who've been asking public room bots - I helped them figure it out too. Okay, I didn't give them the answer, but I told them to "look more closely at the Halloween furniture". If people genuinely want to buy them, and can't work out the time alone, I will give them some guidance, regardless of some selfish "rare value".

Look at it realistically: when the time comes today, half of your console will be messaging you saying "Black Dragon is in da cat!!!" And quite frankly - I would prefer people to know how to work the clues out than follow everyone else like a sheep (which is what people will) do. It's a rare release - people naturally can't keep it quiet, and it's too much fuss to get worked up about, tbh. ^_^

I attempted to justify my actions in my previous post, but we will all have our own likes/dislikes/personal preference.

However: if it was such an issue, a Moderator would have went through all the posts editing the times out. It's not a quest as such - it's a number of very simple clues telling you what time the rare is coming out. Hardly earth shattering. We can all take a step outside for a moment, remind ourselves that this rare is not going to be a "get rich quick" scheme, and continue to use Habbo. (Or ragequit - but givez me ur stuffz. :D)

This thread has dragged on long enough - and is on a topic along the lines of "should people be able to help others work out a time for a rare release". Yes - I can see very little in my post that's on topic, and if I deserve an infraction then so be it - but so do many others in this thread, because the topic of "Dead duck 3 mish Change.. ?" has been lost long ago in the midst of this disagreement, and I don't have anything left to say on the original topic, aside from replying to individual posts that were directed to me personally.

Can't we just forget about the new rare for just a little bit, and... smile? :)

@simeon1011:
:( As I've said twice already - I posted in the other thead how to work the answer out, pages after the answer was given. I'm in the same boat as everyone else - I had the answer thrown at me over console long before I found where the clues were hidden. I hate answers without reasons, which is what I was given. The majority of people will be in the same situation, and it is such a hard one to avoid. I suspect it's because it's a rare release (and not a quest as such) that people are not as secretive as usual.

And to note: I DO agree with the majority - I would prefer the answers not revealed. I would not have explained to N!ckG how to work it out if the answer hadn't already been posted. (Yes, I could have PM'd him, but that's a mistake on my part - everybody makes mistakes. Plus, it might have helped those that were equally confused.)
