Hi,

Well my very noob question, I suppose loads of people wonders this and have proberbly asked before but oh well.

How do you know if someone is bi or fancys you if your gay?

I mean I've noticed 3 ppl staring at me but im not sure if they fancy me. Some people touch me up but they're jokers so i just guess they're joking...im not sure lol.

I guess the same way as a heterosexual person realises someone could fancy them - chemistry. You need to feel something from them to realise I guess? Human attraction is complicated!

But, this could help I guess, there's a lot of physchological studies that have investigated human attraction and how we show it without realising. You could probably find them online, interesting to read and know.

One test I remember from talking to my friends who study pyschology is that if you pass someone and look at them as you do, and turn back to look at them once you've passed them, if they look back too they probably fancy you, or find you attractive. There's lots more :p

If they're not out, then they'll probably try to hide any signs that they're attracted to you; e.g., if they make eye contact with you and then quickly look around or at the ground. However, the only way you can really be certain is if they tell you. You could ask them if they're gay/bisexual, they're probably more likely to confide in you if they already know you're gay. Although, if you're not out (and don't want to be), be careful because they'll probably assume you're gay if you ask them...
