So from what I gather, most people have Fifa 07. So if you play it, let me know about your career details. Maybe set it out like this:

Team: West Ham
Goalkeeper: Roy Carroll
Strikers: Bobby Zamora and Craig Bellamy
Place In League: 3rd

Top 5:

Wigan Athletic
Arsenal
West Ham
Aston Villa
Manchester United

And any other details you would like to add. Boast!

Any hope of this thread getting stuck so that people could access it easily.

Woah.. how did you afford Rooney?
He costs way too much, and when I finally raised enough to buy him - he declined saying it's too much of a step down for him!
So I settled fro Craig Bellamy instead.

Tottenham Hostpur, Premiership

Normal starting eleven:

Robinson
Stalteri - Dawson - King - Lee Young Pyo
Lennon - Jenas - Zokora - Davids
Defoe - Keane

I've already done one season, won the league, FA Cup, and league cup.

Second season:

I'm 3rd in the league, 1 point behind 1st (but I have a game in hand)
Still in the FA Cup
Still in the League Cup
Top of my Champions League group (played 2, won 2)
Won the Charity Shield

Once I've won the Champions League with Spurs, I'm resigining and joining a low league team so I can go up the footballing ladder :]

Quite good, some of it is a bit of a letdown say for example: the Stadiums, No ref or linesman on the pitch while game is in play (If there is a way to put them on there then please let me know) other than that its good :)

Scriptermone

on pc version you can change it so there is linesman and ref, there is for me anyway on pc.

is it just me, or do games seem to take longer than they say?

for instance, i have 4 minute halves, but whenever i play a game, about 20 minutes pass in real life? ;s

You have to take into consideration, the ammount of time it takes for replays, players getting fouled etc.

yeah i guess so :]

and i agree PES has better gameplay and stuff, the only reason I got Fifa is 'cos i wanted a football game an pro evo wasn't out. plus i prefer real leagues & cups to the master league.
