How do you make sites?

Ok So how do you.. I mostly use notepad and start the coding from scratch but I have used most of these. Although flash isnt meant for this purpose I have added it as some do use it to make sites :)

I use a basic HTML editor where you can see your work before you save it.

I dont really like FrontPage becuase of its poor WYSIWYG Editor. -.-

I use macromedia Dreamweaver personally :)

I like DW, becuse of the code highligting, plus it corrects alot of the tags spelling wich is useful after, i spet a tag wrong in note pad.. athogh the tag highligting in firefoxs code veiwer is actaly suprior to dws, in spotting errors.

I used to use the full veiw on dw alot, but now im using php and alot more actaive content, its become pretty useless, but at leats i manged to get up a testing server on my pc, even thogh i still cnat get mysql to work

i use all of the minus front page. I use photoshop to create a layout, DW to code it, i make the pages on notpad and the fancy bits on flash. Quite a nice little mix really:)

Frontpage Is Good As Long As You Know How 2 Use It. I Got Books, Lol i hate reading off the net :D You learn things you didn't know because on websites its kind of the same stuff that u see on every site ! I would like 2 have dreamweaver... any offers?

i dont like front p[age, most of its coding, is non standared and corrupt, to the extent it will only work in ie, its nthe cause of annoying site where the whole thing just falls aprnt when vied in anomtehr browser, plsu it puts in alot of annoying unneeded code.

Dw full stadaredised, the only downfall to it is its slightly (massivly) exstarvgant price tag

Where do u get it from? like PC world, or download from macromedia site and pay 4 serial?

downloads easyer, athogh i think you can mail order, and buy in some shops also :/
