Hopeless

Well i have been looking onto websites about gay advice. And non of them say about coming out in my cercomstances.
I fancy one of my mates (Male) and i don't know how to tell him how i feel. I looked onto some websites and tried to seek advice but nothing came up.
If it was just that i wouldn't be in such a bad situation.
But my dad is a mjor homophobe and he rn over somones foot last year because he hated gay's.

If there is any advice, I would gladly take it.

The simple answer is - if you're not ready, don't do it. Perhaps tell one person you can trust first, and work your way from there.
Don't rush into things though.

Also it tends to be easier to tell a girl friend first.

In my opinion, dads who are homophobic do it (conscious or subconscious) because somewhere, deep down they know that their son is gay and they feel that if they make it seem a really bad thing, they wont be (doesnt make sence, but i think its all subconscious).

then again mabey your dad just is homophobic

also i advise you dont tell anyone if you are in school still.. well depends what school and where about...

Well its not an easy situation.
First of all tell some close friends that you trust, and maybe they can give you some advice on how to tell others. About likeing your friend if he's not gay dont bother persuing a relationship because it will not work for the simple fact he's not attracted to men. If you feel confortable tell him your attracted to him but you wont persue a relationship because he doesnt have the same feelings.

Your parents should love you unconditionally. Maybe explain to your dad that you are gay and tell him that he doesnt have to agree with your choice but you would like him to respect your choice.

Maybe talk to a councilor online, on the phone or in person. They could giv you some more professional advice.

Good Luck <3

Only tell your friend if you know he will accept you, you don't want to face losing a friend, well if he does ditch you he isn't a friend but you know what I mean and if this guy doesn't feel the same way and is a homophobe he may spread it around the school and you could face bullying and all I can say about the Dad issue is never tell him LOL soz.

I am in the same position as you..

I told one person, and that was a female, who I really REALLY trusted over Habbo. But the way I also see it is, try and talk to Connection's Advice. They can help with any problems - I swear. Mind you it's a bit easier for me.. I'm living in Blackpool at the minuite..

But my Nan keeps catching my eyes looking at the Gay billboards, posters, clubs and couples/men. :S
