Is Lieing Right?

Okay, so i decided to start a thread about lieing.
Have you ever lied to someone, and felt really bad?
I know i have, i lied to my friend when i said that i couldn't go help her pick a dress for her big dance, instead i went out clubbing with my other friends, and when she found out she fell out with me, but she forgave me, and it takes a good friend to forgive. I don't agree with BIG lies, but small lies are okay, like little white lies, i say, if it keeps the other persons feelings from being hurt, then it doesn't matter, but if you lie to get out of things, it could hurt that person and cause alot of trouble. What are your thoughts?

Its both , depending on the situation , but generally its wrong, even if its to help someone, but sometimes you havbe to lie

You have to lie sometimes, I mean if you didnt bring in your homework and the teacher says You sure You have it at home
and you lie.. and say yes..

I tell white lies sometimes to protect people, but there's a point when a 'white lie' isn't right, so I mostly try to be truthful, but lies can get you into more mess, but also can help.

Depends on what you are lying for. Big lies and small lies both can be good, depending what it is for.

I've lied a couple of times, I've felt bad for it as I feel guilty for not saying the truth, but this is because we don't want to hurt others. Protecting others from being hurt seems to make it hurt u emotionally.
I only say lies to protect people from the truth.

But usually i am one who will be truthful and mostly speaks my mind, in the right places that is.

Tell every1 - Havok, Panic, Looting... ETC

Not tell every1 - When the time comes : OMG! IT'S IS TEE END OF THE WORLD! But there's no panic... ETC

So I lies would be good sometimes...

It all depends on:
situation
person
where are you lieing about
how big is the lie?
And are you a good lier :P

But generaly I lie alot, only small lies I'd consider them as talking behind somebody's back. But I don't hurt their feelings because I only talk about the people I really hate and they don't like me.

If I think something is wrong with someone, I'll tell them, I once threw my brother's coat on the ground, it got stolen, and lied about it(I was angry)
But I felt guilty, and told him the truth, and then got it back
He still hates me to this day lol :rolleyes:
