I'm just curious as to what is more harmful, smoking cigarettes or smoking pot??? I ahve done both in the past and I am not proud of either, but I still would like to know.

As it affects your mind more that your body.
I've been told that it is 5x more dangerous to smoke "pot" than it is to smoke a cigarette.
I say its bad to even start smoking anyway.

I belive (not 100% sure) smokeing actualy is more detremental to your health than pot. The problem with pot is more the phycological effect, as theres more risk or trying to pet moveing traffic etc "/

only problem with pot is it often leads to more seriouse stuff or some crack will be mixed with it and you'll start doing more then just small trips.

As Shenk and other people have said, pot has the extra effects psychologically that can be very harmful if you do it too much, but tobacco is worse for you in most, if not all, other aspects.

Nicotine is much more addictive than marijuana. It's not difficult to go out into town and find a large percentage of people who smoke cigarettes habitually, maybe even as a chain smoker, but I've never met a chain pot smoker, and only know about 10/15 people who are at a stage where they're addicted to pot.

Lol, personally i prefer a nice joint now... used to be into the whole Shotties/Bongs etc but that started me going back on cocain, crack, X, inhaled-tranquilisers etc etc - and i hated the fall from coming off those so i stopped myself this time lol... Now i just smoke to make me more social because i don't talk unless i'm on drugs or drunk... lol... so yeh... just a few beers or a couple of joints now rather then doing it for the headrush ;]

Only cigarettes fills your lungs up with tar. The tar in the cigarette is used to preserve the tobacco. Not sure if its the same with mariujana.
