Depends what you mean? actual programming? such as apps for computers or server side stuff? or markup like html?
Markup wize, id definiatly say the Primers on http://htmlgoodies.com . Which is where i learnt from, its a little outdated but gives a good foundation and understanding of how html works etc "/

If you mean proper programming as in .NET programming and Desktop programming then you need:
To learn the logic of programming
To learn how to understand programming principles

Sorry, i should have been more specific. I mean like programming and coding for Flash games ect.

Basically coding/programming covers all computer languages from Server-side, Mark UP languages like XML, XHTML and Desktop Programming i.e. C++/C/Python..
