The Idiots Guide To Making A Pure
(I love you really)
Here I'll be explaining the two most common pures and the best ways to build them up :)
Before starting a pure ask yourself if you're satisfied that you will have more fun pking on a pure than on your main, the time put into it is quite considerable, the same goes monetary wise, expect to be spending a fair amount of gp if you're not willing to gather your own materials.
Ok the first section will be about one defence pures:
There're two types of one defence pures mainly:
The one style pure: This pure mainly focuses on one combat skill, such as melee, ranged or mage. A simply example of a one combat style pure is this:
http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/4963/1144575383442image1bigml9.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
Another style of a pure is a hybrid:
This pure uses a mixture of magic/ranged and combat for maximum damage and diversity be careful of hybrids as they are the more lethal of the two. For an example I’ll use my pure’s stats:

Ok now we’ve got the basic idea of a pure, how do you go about making one?
Start out as you would making another other character, go through tutorial island and remember to make sure not to click on the defensive stand icon as this will give you defence experience, the whole point of the pures I’m writing about is to keep defence at one :p
Ok so you have completed Tutorial Island without getting defence experience, go to a general store and sell all the items you wont be needing (pots, buckets, whatnot) this should get you a little bit of gp to buy arrows/a good sword/runes, although I do advise anyone wanting to start a pure to receive some gp from a friend or from your own account (give cash to friend, friend gives to you etc)
Train on all of the local monsters in Lumbridge to get your first amount of levels, remember to not get defence experience. Good monsters to fight are the chickens north of Lumbridge, the cows to the west of the gate to Al Kharid, and the goblins found around the entire area.
Keep training around this area until you get to around level 10-20, at this level I advise mages and rangers to go to the wizards tower south of draynor village and go to the highest stairs and kill the lesser demon behind the cage, great experience, and no chance of dieing. The wizard’s tower can be found here:

I’d do this till you either run out of runes or you get to about level 30/40.
Another great place to train which requires barely any food is rock crabs (membership required), these little beggars give 200xp per kill and have bare minimum stats so they’re extremely easy to kill. Many people have gone from 20 to 99 attack/strength here as the area is fantastic for levelling.
The Area:

To get there simply get to seers village, go through the members gate then over the mountain, you’ll end up in Catherby. Go north of Catherby and you’ll end up in Seers village, Follow the path on the west side of Seers village all the way north until you get to a town called Relekka (Viking style area) Keep going north and eventually you will come to a beach like area.
You will see stone-like things on the floor, simply stand over them and they will attack you. Bring a full inventory of lobsters/swordfish with you and you will last a fair while there without having to worry about checking on your health a lot.
