If I remember correctly, based on screenshots a user of this forum gathered from his visit, Akon said that "Akon" is his middle name, or something like that. (I don't know much about him though, so you might want to check one of the "Akon visit" threads.)

Gr00vy set of photos though - and silences the "omg itz lost_witnezz not akon" crowd. Bright, colourful offices... big colourful chairs, hot TV, lighting - I love 'em! :)
