dunno, if it was one of them laxative sweets u buy in joke shops, they are rubbish and never work...

and then she showed me real box, and it said "excessive comsumption will lead to serious laxative effects"

Eating mints or chewing gum quickly will really just make you fart alot. Won't make you need the toilet soo much that you can't hold it.

Mints have laxative effects because they have no sugar. Sugars are Carbs and mints still have carbs but not ones that make you gain weight or make your blood pressure high. They have carbs called Poly Carbs. These make you fart. Low carb bars and drinks will also make you fart because they use poly carbs instead of sugary ones.
