U2 could POSSIBLY be coming to Habbo UK. Remember that screenshot where ukchaseral said they were attempting to get them to visit?

Well Habbo USA has released a news article about U2 coming to Habbo Hotels WORLDWIDE. Could this mean a tour like the Gorillaz?

i dont think they would because its mainly people trying to get interest from kids to buy their albums and get publicity. U2 dont need any of that..

so they wouldnt have any reason to visit.

I think they'll be promoting their new (RED) products and the charity, which as far as I know benefits people in Africa suffering from the AIDs epidemic. That's the only logical reason I can see them coming to Habbo - to promote it to teens, they already used MySpace to promote it.

They also have a song out with Greenday.

U2 are coming, hence the phrase "world wide"! And to be honest, I'm glad - it's probably the best celebrity visit Habbo UK will have to date... (And they are actually a good band IMO, unlike some of the other visits - but each to their own... my tastes do not reflect the collective tastes of everyone else.) :eusa_danc

I dont mind U2 and i think the staff would be more excited about U2 than anyone as they wouldve pratically grown up with U2 since they were quite large then.. Still are in my opinion. :) Theyre alot like Busted... You dont like them, but once theyre gone you kinda miss them.

I totally agree, U2 are actually a decent band rather than all the cokeheads that are around. And i would neva fink that they would come to HABBO simply becos they don't need any more publicity and they went on tour last year.
